Musician and actor. He studied piano and traditional Mexican music from an early age. He studied composition in King's College London and later took acting workshops at La Casa del Teatro in Mexico City. He composed the music for several feature films and has worked with a wide range of theatre makers like Teatro Ojo, Mauricio García Lozano, Clarissa Malheiros and Lagartijas Tiradasal Sol.
He is a member of collective Todas Las Fiestas de Mañana, directed by Alonso Ruizpalacios. He won his first Metro award for the original music for Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, directed by Alonso Íñiguez. Chemor performed as an actor and live musician in David Gaitán's Der Wilde at Schauspiel Köln. At Theater und Orchester Heidelberg he worked on La Flauta Mágica / Die Zauberflöte with Antú Romero Nunes, with whom he is also a regular collaborator in Theater Basel. He currently serves as musical director for Teatro Insurgentes’ production of Cabaret in Mexico City.


Conchi León is a playwright, actress, stage director, community activist, and teacher. She has been awarded for her plays that stand up for family, traditions, women’s life, and Maya culture. Her outstanding works as a playwright include Mestiza Power, Cachorro de León (Lion Cub), La Tía Mariela (Auntie Mariela), Del Manantial al Corazón (From the Spring to the heart), and now Comala, Comala. Her plays have been staged in the United States, Spain, Perú, and Argentina. She was the beneficiary of the prestigous FONCA prize in Mexico, The Lark Play Development Center program in New York City, and is a member of the National Art Creators System, as well as founder of the Sa’as Tún Theater Company. In 2011, she received recognition from the Human Rights Commission of Yucatan for his
social work through theater.
